Delete Your Boreinu Study App Account

This page explains how users of the Boreinu Study App can request account deletion and what data is deleted or retained.

How to request account deletion

  1. Sign in to your Boreinu account at https://www.boreinu.com/login.
  2. Go to your profile page from the dashboard, or visit https://www.boreinu.com/profile.
  3. Open the Delete Account section, enter your password, and confirm the deletion request.
  4. If you cannot sign in, email support@boreinu.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my Boreinu Study App account.” We may ask you to verify account ownership before deletion.

We aim to acknowledge email deletion requests within 7 business days and complete verified account deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for security, fraud prevention, billing, legal, or compliance reasons.

Data we delete

When your Boreinu account is deleted, Boreinu Education LLC deletes or deactivates personal account data that is no longer needed to provide the Boreinu Study App service, including:

  • Account profile information such as your name and email address.
  • Login credentials and app/session access associated with your Boreinu account.
  • Boreinu Study App preferences, reading plan selections, study progress, and reading or audio activity tied to your account.
  • Local entitlement and access records that are no longer needed to provide or verify service access.

Data we may retain

Some information may be kept for limited purposes after account deletion:

  • Billing, transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, and accounting records: retained for up to 7 years where required for legal, tax, accounting, chargeback, fraud-prevention, or compliance obligations.
  • Support and deletion request records: retained for up to 3 years to document your request, verify completion, and resolve follow-up issues.
  • Security logs and backups: may remain in protected backups or logs for up to 90 days before routine deletion or rotation, unless needed longer for security, fraud, legal, or compliance investigations.
  • Aggregated or de-identified data: may be retained when it can no longer reasonably identify you.

Google Play subscriptions

Deleting your Boreinu account removes your Boreinu account and app data from Boreinu systems as described above. It does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription managed by Google.

If you subscribed through Google Play, manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play account. Google may retain purchase and payment records under Google Play policies.
